“Pidgeon” = Pidgin (a language born between strangers) + Pigeon (a bird found everywhere).

This is not a place for perfect grammar. It is a place to love the warm noise of imperfect words finding each other.

Sir Pidgin Pigeon — “pipi”

A pigeon who traveled the world and fell in love with every language he encountered. He returned to a quiet corner of Japan and opened a hidden café for language learners.

A. Most language exchange apps connect you with hundreds of people — but most disappear. Pidgeon takes the opposite approach: a small lounge of up to 4 people, icebreaker games, and shared study time tracking. Fewer encounters, deeper bonds.

Q. Why only 4 people per lounge?

A. By design. A cafe table seats four — enough to feel company, small enough to remember names. You don't need 200 matches if 3 of them stay for months.

Q. Is Pidgeon free?

A. Completely free during the beta. No credit card required. After launch, core features remain free with optional premium subscription.
